INGA SMIRNOVA

We are very excited and proud to announce Inga Smirnova will be joining the McKeon Gymnastics Coaching Staff!  Inga started gymnastics as a young girl in Russia and was a decorated gymnast from 1982-1987. During that time she was a competing team member of the USSR National Women's Gymnastics Team, Kazakhstan National Women's Team and the Kazakhstan Sports Society "Dynamo" Team. She is currently a Certified National Gymnastics Judge and has been since 1999. She brings 28+ years of extensive knowledge and coaching with her in the gymnastics and acrobatic area. She is USAG professional member, U100: Fundamentals of Gymnastics Instruction certified, U101Safety & Risk Management certified.

KATHRYN SHERLOCK

Katie Sherlock is a recent graduate of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth who has been a part of the studio for almost 20 years. At the age of 3, she started in her first tap & tricks class and later became an active member of both the competitive dance and gymnastic teams. She was a successful competitive gymnast for many years, and won numerous regional and national titles with her dance team. She began coaching classes when she was a Level 7 competitive gymnast, and quickly fell in love with the job. She has worked to perfect student technique, choreograph routines, and guide gymnasts through their competitive seasons. She is a USAG professional member, U100: Fundamentals of Gymnastics Instruction certified, U101Safety & Risk Management certified. and has attended many regional and national congress event trainings. Having been a gymnast at McKeon herself, she has many years of direct training under Peter and Trisha Cacciapaglia providing her with the talent and passion necessary to be a wonderful coach. She has continued to work with the girls of all levels throughout her college years, while pursuing her undergraduate degree. She has always said, "McKeon is my second home, always has been, always will be".

COLBY HALL

Colby was a member of the national award winning dance and gymnastics team at Mckeon's for 10 years. She recently graduated from Liberty University with a degree in Sport Management. She is head of Spirit for Cheerleading and Dance at The University of Massachusetts -Amherst. Colby has been a valued member of our coaching staff for 5 years. She is USAG professional member, U100: Fundamentals of Gymnastics Instruction, U101 Safety & Risk Management certified and Heads Up certified.


kyle

KYLE CACCIAPAGLIA

Kyle Cacciapaglia is a graduate from Bridgewater State College. She holds a Masters degree in Special Education. She also holds a B.S. in Psychology. During her studies at Bridgewater Kyle did volunteer work at the Children’s Physical Developmental Clinic, working with children with disabilities from ages 18 months to 18 years old. Kyle is a licensed Pre K- 12 Mild – Moderate Special Needs Educator. She currently holds a teaching position in the Ashland Public School District. Kyle is the lead teacher in the substantially separate class room for grade 3 – 5. She has held a teaching position in the Ashland District for the past 8 years.

Kyle is also a certified gymnastics instructor. Kyle is a professional member of USAG and safety certified. Other certifications she holds are GymCert levels 1 – 3. She has been teaching gymnastics for over 20 years, for both recreation and competitive classes.

LYNN SAMUELSON

Lynn is entering her 4th year as a valuable coach in the McKeon gym. She was coached by Peter and Trisha at the McKeon gym from the ages of 4-17. Lynn teaches recreational gymnastics and is the Director of the Hotshot and Power Stars Preteam programs. She is USAG professional member, U100: Fundamentals of Gymnastics Instruction certified, U101Safety & Risk Management certified.Lynn is entering her 4th year as a valuable coach in the McKeon gym. She was coached by Peter and Trisha at the McKeon gym from the ages of 4-17.

Lynn teaches recreational gymnastics and is the Director of the Hotshot and Power Stars Preteam programs. She is a Professional Member of USAG.

PATTY BLACK

Patty Black started doing gymnastics at Holliston School of Gymnastics as a child after which she went to S.Y.G.A. (Southborough Youth Gymnastics). As a freshman in high school she started teaching preschool gymnastics on Saturday mornings. She furthered her gymnastics training at Springfield College. Patty has taught at Pioneers Gymnastics, Flipside Gymnastics and worked at the Metro West YMCA in Framingham, where she was the Program Director for about 6 years and ran the gymnastics and dance programs. Patty has taught all levels of gymnastics from parent/child to preschool to school aged and levels 4 & 5. She is USAG professional member, U100: Fundamentals of Gymnastics Instruction certified, U101Safety & Risk Management certified.Patty Black started doing gymnastics at Holliston School of Gymnastics as a child after which she went to S.Y.G.A. ANDREA PEAK

Andrea Peak has motivated, inspired and educated hundreds of young people over the years through coaching gymnastics. She has trained champions, built up programs, and boosted self-esteem by sharing her Passion of the sport. Teaching a "cartwheel" is in the job description, but teaching the hard work, determination, courage and discipline is where she finds her fulfillment. She began her journey into the world of gymnastics at the age of 13 and grew from assistant, to teacher, to head coach, and then to director of the first program she was involved with. After growing the program into a very successful recreational and competitive school and working there for 15 years Andrea opened her own Gymnastics Academy to continue impacting children in a positive rewarding environment.

Andrea is skilled in teaching toddler through teen recreational and competitive classes. Andrea has also worked with several different aspects of gymnastics including training cheerleaders, circus Arts, group gymnastics, parkour kama dance groups, Fitness and yoga all to strengthen her abilities as a coach. She is a USAG professional member, U100: Fundamentals of Gymnastics Instruction certified, U101Safety & Risk Management certified.

MARISA PEAK

Marisa was born into the sport of gymnastics, giving her almost 20 years involved in the sport. She began competing at the age of 5 and assistant teaching at the age of 13. She was a member of her high school team and was awards the coaches award her senior year. Her primary study in high school was early childhood development which gives her a great insight into working with our young gymnasts! . She is USAG professional member, U100: Fundamentals of Gymnastics Instruction certified, U101Safety & Risk Management certified.

ROBERT CULLINS

Robert Cullins has been coaching gymnastics for 36 years. During his career, he has coached many state and regional champions, developed teaching curriculums for recreational as well as competitive team programs, supervised training of coaching staff, coordinated special and team events and compulsory programs. Numerous athletes he has coached have gone on to compete for college teams such as UNH, LSU and the University of Michigan and many have gone on to become coaches and gym owners.

Robert is also a certified teacher in the state of Massachusetts, he is a USAG professional member, U100: Fundamentals of Gymnastics Instruction certified, U101 Safety & Risk Management certified, a USAG certified Meet Director and CPR certified with the American Heart Association.
